These terms govern your use of kestrelhum.digital and any advertising placement booked through Kestrelhum. By using the site or booking a placement you accept these terms.

Description of the service

Kestrelhum publishes local news and a podcast covering Griffintown and the Sud-Ouest, and sells three advertising placements to local businesses: a newsletter sponsor note, a podcast segment, and a combined campaign. Prices, formats and run lengths are set out on the Advertise with us page.

Eligibility

You must be authorised to book advertising on behalf of the business named in the booking and to provide accurate contact details for that business.

Bookings & payment

A placement is confirmed once we send a booking note and you approve the scheduled date and creative. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) on the Advertise with us page. See Payment & Refund Policy below, and Returns Policy for changes to a confirmed booking.

Intellectual property

The Kestrelhum name, logo and site content belong to STINGRAY RADIO INC.. Advertiser-supplied creative remains the advertiser's property; by submitting it you grant us a licence to publish it as part of the booked placement.

Acceptable use

You agree not to submit creative that is unlawful, misleading, or that misrepresents editorial content as independent coverage. We may decline or withdraw creative that does not meet this standard.

General information. Content on this site is provided by STINGRAY RADIO INC. for general informational purposes about local news and advertising placements in Griffintown and the Sud-Ouest.

Not professional advice. Nothing on this site is a substitute for individual professional or legal advice specific to your business.

Accuracy & availability. We take reasonable care to keep information accurate and current, but make no warranty that it is complete or error-free. Prices, formats and schedules may change; the scope of a booked placement is confirmed in the individual booking note.

Results. Reach and reporting figures we share are factual descriptions of what a placement includes, not a promise of sales, enquiries or any other business outcome.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, STINGRAY RADIO INC. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or a booked placement.

Payment & Refund Policy

Scope. This section covers payments for advertising placements booked through Kestrelhum.

Eligibility. A placement that has not yet started may be refunded in full if cancelled more than 5 business days before its scheduled run. Placements already published, aired or sent are not eligible for a refund.

How to request. Email [email protected] or call +1 514-664-1244 ext. 2428 with the placement name and booking date.

Processing. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Non-refundable cases. Placements already published, aired or sent; requests made after the run has started; and creative production work already delivered are not refundable.

Returns Policy

How to cancel. Send an email to [email protected] or call +1 514-664-1244 ext. 2428 during Monday – Friday, 09:00–18:00.

Returns windows. Cancelling more than 5 business days before the scheduled run is free of charge. Cancelling within 5 business days may forfeit any creative work already completed; see the Payment & Refund Policy above.

Rescheduling. We're generally able to move a booking to a later available slot instead of cancelling it outright — ask when you contact us.

Returnss by us. If we need to cancel a confirmed placement, for example due to a scheduling conflict, we offer a full refund or rebooking at your choice.

This site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date below.
