Payment and refunds

This page sets out, in full, how cancellations and refunds work for advertising placements booked through Kestrelhum. It works alongside the Payment & Refund Policy and Returns Policy sections of our Terms of Use, and the campaign terms in our Advertising Terms. Placements are booked services; nothing physical ships, so there is no shipping policy on this site.

How to cancel or request a refund

Email [email protected] or call +1 514-664-1244 ext. 2428 during Monday – Friday, 09:00–18:00. Include the placement name and the booking date so we can locate it quickly.

Returns windows

Cancelling a confirmed placement more than 5 business days before its scheduled run qualifies for a full refund. Cancelling within 5 business days of the scheduled run may forfeit payment for any creative review work already completed, but never for the portion of the placement that has not yet run.

Rescheduling instead of cancelling

If your business isn't ready in time, we can usually move a booked placement to the next available slot instead of cancelling it outright, at no extra charge.

Refund eligibility

Placements that have not yet published, aired or been sent are eligible for a full refund when cancelled within the window above. Once a newsletter note has gone out, a podcast episode has been released, or the seasonal guide has been distributed, that portion of the campaign is not refundable.

Processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

Non-refundable cases

Placements already published, aired or sent; cancellation requests made after the scheduled run has started; and creative production already delivered are not eligible for a refund.

Returnss by Kestrelhum

If we need to cancel a confirmed placement — for example because of a scheduling conflict on our side — we offer you a full refund or a rebooking at the next available slot, whichever you prefer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date below.
